Ol' Turtle Farm was established in September, 1998, through the combined efforts of the people of Easthampton, The Trustees of Reservations, the Pascommuck Conservation Trust, the Massachusetts Department of Food and Agriculture and the new owners, Eileen and Toni. These two parcels of land had once been a part of a larger family farm that had been divided up and sold off for house lots. This joint venture reconnected two of these parcels leading to the preservation of approximately 27 acres, including 14 acres of prime farmland and 9 acres of woods and wetlands and providing the perfect location for a Community Supported Agriculture--or CSA--farm.
